PhotoRotor is FAA Certified and Insured.
Our team has over 20 years experience of flying Photography/Videography.
All of our UAV (Drone) Pilots are tested and certified by the FAA to operated commerically, with special waivers available to operate at night and in special events.

Equipment we use
PhotoRotor only uses the latest in UAV (Drone) technology and keep our Hardware and Software up-to-date as per FAA guidelines.
Our drones
We fly with DJI drones, which have proved to be the industry leader with great technology and safety record.
Ground equipment
We use a dual screen ground station solution, which if needed allows our clients to see in realtime the views and images. Which allows client input resulting a better and quicker service/result.
TWO way radio
In some situations we need to communicate with the client, addition observers or local airports.
Editing Software
We only use Adobe software for all of our Photographs and Videos. Which results in a better final product.
Safety is our #1 priority
Weather
We only fly when the weather conditions meet or exceed the FAA’s minimum requirements. We will re-schedule to due weather at no additional cost to the client.
Airspace Authorizations
All of our flights get authorizations through the FAA’s LAANC system so we safely flying within the NAS (National Airspace System). In some cases additional waivers are needed, which requires additional time for approval.

All of our flights are insured against accidently damage up to $1millions.
‘go’ or ‘no go’
If the weather, airspace restrictions or other hazards exist, our pilots are instructed not to fly and re-schedule if possible. Safety will always come first.
